We can repair over 2,500 different ignition unit models but unfortunately this is not always the case. If there is irreparable damage on a printed circuit board (PCB) due to burned out electronic parts, or the unit is potted with a hard material, repair is not possible. However we have a selection in excess of 300 CDI replacement options available.

Our digital CDI replacement unit is developed in-house. Sophisticated software together with high-grade components makes it a state-of-the-art electronics box with the same or minimum dimensions and can be used on almost every motorcycle. They are so called ‘plug and play’ units.

What has been improved compared to the original unit:
– increased protection against over-voltage (like a defective voltage regulator/rectifier, bad battery).
– higher resistance against a defective ignition coil and reverse battery connection.
– optimized ignition curve/map to improve engine performance resulting in more power.
– acceleration correction: when the RPM increases the ignition delay changes (in proportion) resulting in a smoother acceleration.
– digital technique: therefor the unit is more accurate and less sensitive to temperature changes.
– spark power control: the unit will change the output to the ignition coil when the battery voltage changes in order to keep the spark power the same.
– start mode: during engine start there is a start delay and the unit will give more current to the ignition coil for a faster start.

Please note that our supplier does not provide any connector pin layouts.
